TapFun is a platform for delivering games and interactive content to more people, more easily. By streaming PC games from the cloud, we let users play on a wide range of devices, including not only PCs but also smartphones and tablets.
No download or installation
Even large PC games of over 100 GB are delivered via the cloud. Users can start playing right away just by opening their browser, without downloading or installing the game.
On a wide range of devices
Because games run in the cloud, the performance required of the user's device is kept low. Games can reach a broader audience, including people using older smartphones and PCs.
User acquisition for publishers
People who discover a game through ads or social media can jump straight into play with no download in between. This reduces drop-off and expands touchpoints with new users for marketing and acquisition.
In addition to PC games and PC game demos running in the cloud, we also offer browser games built with HTML5 and other web technologies, as well as other interactive content. Removing the barriers to starting a game
As game content and graphics grow more sophisticated, the barriers to casually starting a new game keep getting higher.
To create an environment where more people can easily enjoy games and content regardless of device performance, storage capacity or operating system, we developed TapFun with investment from Cygames Capital in September 2023.
- Ever-larger gamesSome smartphone titles now exceed 20 GB, and PC games over 100 GB are not uncommon. Downloads and installs take time, and plenty of storage and device performance are required.
- Rising device pricesAs devices become more powerful, they also become more expensive, and many users cannot easily upgrade. On older devices, performance and OS limitations can keep users from fully enjoying the latest games.
- Device load and platform limitsOn smartphones, memory and battery load and device heat get in the way of comfortable play. PC games demand high-end hardware, and supported operating systems and environments limit who can play.

More titles and subscriptions
We will continue to release more titles, and we are also considering offering TapFun on a subscription basis.
Global expansion
Starting with an English version, we plan to expand overseas with a focus on North America and Europe, and to support additional languages and regions over time.
